I’m Hustling Hard Now So My Kids Won’t Feel It

I don’t wait on anyone. I put in the effort and hustle hard now so that my kids won’t have to.
I move, plan, and structure everything.
Because I want my kids to know what it feels like to be poured into.

I’m a hustler by nature.

And have always been.
I’ve done it all: braids, custom tees, party setups, weekend pop-ups, babysitting, small business drop-offs,
Whatever keeps the house running and the joy flowing? I’m doing it.

I budget according to the needs, save, invest, and make sure we’re good.

When I say “good,” I mean:
Birthday parties that feel like a dream.
Vacations they’ll never forget.
Movie nights, weekend shopping, nail salon appointments.
And I do it without skipping on my own upkeep, either.

My daughters know what self-love looks like.
My son knows what effort looks like.
We don’t move sloppily over here.

I hustle hard so they don’t carry that weight.
So their memories are sweet, not strained.

Everything I do is with them in mind.
Every shift, every side gig, every yes and no I give.

Because they deserve to look back and say, “My mom never made it feel like we went without.”

And honestly? That’s what keeps me going.

How do you keep your household flowing on your own terms?
